Michael's Famous Pasta Puttanesca - Featured on WHAI
  • 32 oz. Michael’s Famous Marinara Sauce
  • 10-12 Calamatas or Spanish green olives, pitted and halved
  • 2 Tbl. Capers
  • 2 Tbl. Pignoli nuts
  • 2 Tbl. Fresh sweet chopped basil
  • 1 lb. Linguini or spaghetti (ziti or your favorite pasta may be substituted)
  • Grated parmesan cheese to taste
Pour sauce into sauce pan and add olives, capers, pignoli nuts, and heat. Meanwhile, boil 1 lb. pasta in salted water. Cook al dente, drain pasta and put into your favorite serving bowl. Pour sauce over pasta, top with parmesan cheese and fresh basil and serve.
