Famous Mexican Shrimp - Featured
on WHAI
- 2 table spoons extra virgin olive oil
- 2 cloves chopped garlic
- 3 scallions chopped
- 1 jalopino pepper chopped
- 1 teaspoon of grated dried orange peal
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1/2 teaspoon cumin
- 1 can of 26 oz. diced tomatoes
- 1 lb raw large shrimp
Saute garlic scallions pepper. Add orange peal and can of tomatoes.
Cook for 10-15 minutes. Add shrimp AND cook for 3 minutes more until shrimp turn pink.
Serve with rice. |
