  • 2 lbs. Cabbage either red or white
  • 2 slices Canadian Bacon
  • 1 1/2 tsp. white vinegar
  • 1 tbs. flour
  • 3/4 cup of water
  • 1/2 tsp. sugar
  • Salt and Pepper

Cut bacon into strips and fry until crisp. Shred cabbage. Add water, bacon fat and cook for 45 minutes.

Mix 1/2 cup water, white vinegar, sugar, flour and add to cabbage. Stir in well and cook a few minutes longer.
