Michael's Famous Cider Mussels - Featured on WHAI
  • 3 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
  • 3 lb. Mussels cleaned and de-bearded (discard opened or cracked mussels)
  • 2 cups of hard cider
  • 3-4 chopped charletts
  • 1 clove garlic chopped
  • 1/4 cup crumbled blue cheese
Sautee charletts in olive oil or 5 minutes until translucent. Add hard cider. Reduce. Add mussels and steam until opened. Add crumbled blue cheese. Garnish with parsley and serve.
