Famous Cider Mussels
- Featured on WHAI
- 3 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
- 3 lb. Mussels cleaned and de-bearded (discard opened
or cracked mussels)
- 2 cups of hard cider
- 3-4 chopped charletts
- 1 clove garlic chopped
- 1/4 cup crumbled blue cheese
Sautee charletts in olive oil or 5 minutes until translucent. Add hard cider. Reduce. Add mussels and steam until opened. Add crumbled blue cheese. Garnish with parsley and serve. |
